1 & 2 Year Service Apprentice’s Class Schedule
Classes offered every Monday & Tuesday from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and one full day on Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm

• OSHA CLASS-None scheduled at this time
Meetings
• Union meetings are now the last Wednesday of the month
• JATC meetings are now the third Tuesday of the month
Continuing Education 2020-2021
Journeyman up-grade classes such as Mathematics, Hoisting and Rigging, and Foreman Training are scheduled as needed.
October 7 First Aid / CPR: Receive your two-year First Aid/CPR card.
October 29 Welding Refresher: Refresh your welding skills with machine set-up, technique & proper consumables. Work on wire feed, stick or TIG welding. 2 open seats
November 10-12 Fire Smoke Damper Technician Level #1: Receive a two-year certification for inspection procedures of Fire Smoke Dampers plus proper installation and differential pressure measurements across egress doorways. A 3-night class.
November 18 Basic Home Heating / Zoom Class: Learn basic troubleshooting and repair of residential boilers and furnaces.
January 5-6 ICRA: Receive your level 1 certification for working in cubes. Many hospitals are requiring this certification. This is a two-night class.
February 10 First Aid / CPR: Receive your two-year First Aid/CPR card
March 10 Foreman Training: Foreman Training covering job schedules, RFI’s, communication and running crews.
No Date yet Prolon Controls: A Service Technician, upgrade class on Prolon Controls. This open access, light commercial, control system is gaining popularity. A Prolon Representative will teach this one-night class.
No Date yet TAB: Learn the basics of Testing Adjusting and Balancing. With enough interest, this class could evolve into TABB certification.
No Date yet Fire Smoke Damper Technician Level #2: Receive a two-year certification to plan and direct testing and inspection of Fire Smoke Dampers (FSD). Learn to oversee FSD technicians to ensure procedures follow requirements of applicable codes and standards. This is a 3-night class. Must have a Fire Life Safety level #1 Technician or Fire Smoke Damper Technician license to attend.
April 13-14 TIG Welding: A two-night class on the basics of GTAW welding with an emphasis on Stainless Steel. All participants will be given a chance to use finishing grinders and learn the art of re-graining metal. Max of 6 people
May 5 First Aid / CPR: Receive your two-year First Aid/CPR card
